Stop SOPA
The move by several members of Congress to regulate the Internet through SOPA is dangerous and ill-advised. This would be the first step towards censorship of the Internet. Today several high profile sites are blacked out in protest.
Before it is too late contact your members of Congress and plead with them to not support this foolishness.

Welcome, Aubrey
My significant other, Lynn, became a Grandmother for the first time today with the birth of Aubrey Claire to her son and daughter-in-law. Lynn is going to be a world class grandparent. I am so happy for Lynn and her family. I am glad I was able to share this monumental day with her.

What a Game!
Did you happen to watch the Niners and Saints game yesterday?
It was easily the best Football game I have ever seen.
Jim Harbaugh and company are an awesome group. Nobody, including myselfa, gave them much of a chance this season to do much of anything, yet alone be within one win of going to the Super Bowl. Coach, I apologize. Good luck next weekend.

if You Want to be a Writer...
in an interview Ray Bradbury once told me, If you want to be a writer you've got to write every day. If you want to write short stories write one a week. At the end of a year you might have two or three that are pretty good.
If you want to write you've got to be all in. If you want to write, you've got to write. Just do it.
